Good to hear you are able to sew while resting. I looked at the post (stunning!) and David's gallery - I can see that has to be on my list for the next visit to Maleny.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01914350639398715648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8070917680632622858.post-587028718792929242010-10-27T06:53:07.884+10:002010-10-27T06:53:07.884+10:00These look lovely fiona... there's nothing lik...These look lovely fiona... there's nothing like the 'feel' of a beautifully made book is there?. I used to work in a fine arts library and some of the artists books we received were unbelievable - leather, fur, wood, corrugated cardboard, encased in vinyl bubbles, you name it! It is the ONE thing I regret about no longer working there! I'm glad the art of the book is alive and well...and that you too are on the mend!Gisizeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08842508709852026701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8070917680632622858.post-32625779690325022442010-10-26T21:40:02.804+10:002010-10-26T21:40:02.804+10:00You're right - I simply used leather glue on t...You're right - I simply used leather glue on these ones; stretched the leather and held it down.Fiona Dempsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09275413906419343228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8070917680632622858.post-85094854920271252352010-10-26T20:22:23.184+10:002010-10-26T20:22:23.184+10:00good to feel at least a little useful, healing is ...good to feel at least a little useful, healing is such hard work. looks like the leather isn't laced through the covers?Velma Bolyardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12446502295849533888noreply@blogger.com
