more bits and pieces...

The paperwork's humming away, things are ordered and will hopefully be delivered in time.

I came across this today - my artists talk ay he Sydney Contemporary - really looking forward to it!

And as I wander the block the big blue sky is a backdrop for some of Barry's peace doves still hanging from last year's International day of Peace (21 September). Reminders of gentle and peaceful times, amongst the scary chaos of our world right now.

And the bright sunshine makes happy shadows across the barbed wire balls alongside our front pathway...

And from a recent trip to Nimbin- more peace

And because our country just needs to find its better self and do the decent thing and let people who love each other marry if they want to - rainbows from Nimbin for marriage equality.

  1. a big piece of my heart is still in the Rainbow Region (lived there for 10 years from 1976-86) and look forward to your talk !

    1. Oh I can imagine you there Mo -I was so happy to see so many folk probably from that time still in the area - it has not been too gentrified one could say. Hope I don't disappoint!

  2. These are troubling times dear friend. Barry's 'peace' leaves will be given out over here with all the good karma I can muster for Sept 21st.
Before that I expect to read a review of you wowing the crowds on Sept 10th! Good luck with it.

    1. Oh boy we need peace and calm and kindness and care and hope don't we Lesley/ The leaves to share are lovely and so nice to know they will each people all over the world. The talk will be OK I think - I talk best about things I am passionate about! Go well

I appreciate your thoughts and comments; thanks for taking the time.
