We often say there is plenty of weather here. It moves and shifts and plays with you really. This morning we woke to blazing sunshine and stillness after driving home in the gloom and mist and rain last night.
But it does wonderful things with the light, and looking back over photos, there are some lovely greys and blues...
Grey mornings, and the fish net drying poles
Peeling paint on a beached boat at Keiss.

A transitional sky.
Clouds in a puddle
Clouds in the sky
The fishing net drying poles in the blue.

Lovely to have time to enjoy a different place.
ReplyDeleteSo very true Penny, and it a very different place - the moods, the colours, the weather - and the time...go well
DeleteBeautiful soft colours - I love them.
ReplyDeleteThey are so calming and gentle aren't they Louise? And a real contrast to the boldness and brightness in Australia...go well
DeleteOur local colors are similar....gray/blue clouds and water, but we have the punctuation of blackish green evergreen trees. Your photos are so evocative...thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dana - the fields of green grass for the sheep are turning to the muted browns. The bracken fern is heading to russet, so the transition is lovely to watch as well. But the blues and greys are my favourites. Go well.
Deleteso very subtle....nice
ReplyDeleteYes Annick there is a softness to them isn't there?
